Was fortunate to capture this while trying to get pictures of lightning. Actually saw it arc upwards before striking downward.

Wow! That's really lucky. It's a beautiful shot. For a moment I thought you'd gone mad and dragged a Photoshop brush over the middle of the lightning... it looks very strange and spooky and I like it.

Not so hard when the storm is coming at you and you're using a digital camera that takes successive shots. I just set the exposure time and held down the button until I got something. Luck helps, of course :juggle:
